Home Grown

All of this is home grown. The deer meat, corn, and okra is all grown at The Livingston Ranch, which is not a thing.     But it is a Deer Ranch, not really again. We do hunt on our property but it is not called The Livingston Ranch or The Deer Ranch. Let’s get to the point, does this picture make your mouth water? If not I don’t know whats wrong with you. I know, you’re CRAZY!

MMMMMMM doesn’t that look good?

Now for the story of my biggest buck. It was the opening morning of Muzzleloading season. We had just gotten in our stand, then about ten minutes later we saw a deer. My Dad looked in the binoculars to see if it was a buck or a doe, then he said, “Gabe, shoot that deer.” I started shaking because the way he said that I knew it was a big buck. So I got the gun set then because I was shaking I could not get still. I told him that I could not get still two or three times then after that he said, “If you don’t shoot, I will shoot the deer.” So that’s when I shot. After all that my Dad and I were both excited. When he was reloading the muzzleloader he was shaking and so was I. When we got off the stand we started to look for the deer but it was so early in the morning it was hard to see. When we found the deer I was really excited! It is a big buck and I bet it weighed 200 lbs. We got lots of meat and I was glad to get the deer.
